Phantom — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 July 2026 · App: Phantom (com.bytelunalabs.phantom)
Phantom (“the app”) is published by Byteluna Labs. This policy
explains what data the app does and does not handle. We designed Phantom to be
private by default: it has no user accounts and its core tools run entirely on your
device.
1. Who we are

2. Data processed on your device (not collected by us)
- Microphone — used by the EVP Recorder to record audio. Recordings
are saved locally on your device and are never uploaded to us.
- Camera — used by the SLS Camera for on-device figure/pose
detection. The camera feed is processed on the device and is not
stored or transmitted.
- Magnetometer (motion sensor) — used by the EMF Meter. Readings
stay on the device.
You choose if and when to share a recording using your device’s share sheet. Nothing
is shared automatically.
3. Diagnostics & analytics (Firebase / Google)
To keep the app stable and understand which features are used, the app uses Google
Firebase:
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports: device model,
operating system version, app version and diagnostic stack traces.
- Firebase Analytics — collects aggregated usage data: screens and
events viewed, device model, OS, app version, approximate region and a Firebase‑
generated app‑instance identifier.
This information is not used to identify you personally. It is processed by Google as
described in the Firebase Privacy & Security and
Google
Privacy Policy.
4. What we do NOT collect
No account, no login, no name, email or contacts. We do not sell or share personal
data with advertisers. Your recordings, camera images and sensor readings are not sent
to our servers.
5. Purchases
Phantom is a paid app. Your purchase is handled by Google Play; we do not receive
your payment details.
6. Data retention
- Local recordings remain on your device until you delete them in the app or
uninstall Phantom.
- Firebase Analytics data is retained per Google’s default retention; Crashlytics
reports are retained for approximately 90 days.
7. Your choices & rights (GDPR / KVKK)
- Delete local data: remove recordings inside the EVP Recorder, or
uninstall the app to remove all local data.
- Diagnostics/analytics: to request deletion of telemetry
associated with your app instance, email
contact@bytelunalabs.com.
- You may request access to, or deletion of, any data by contacting us.
8. Children
Phantom is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective
date on this page.
